The Department of Commerce & Management organized an industrial visit to Reid & Taylor, Thandavapura, Nanjangud, on 7th August 2026, for the 3rd and 5th semester students. The visit aimed to provide students with practical exposure to the manufacturing process of premium fabrics. The students gained insights into raw material procurement, dyeing, spinning, weaving, wet processing and packaging. They also observed the machinery and various production departments. A total of 40 students participated in the visit, accompanied by Mr. Ravikiran N. and Ms. Meera H from the department of Commerce & Management. The visit provided valuable practical knowledge and enhanced the students’ understanding of industrial operations.
