38th INTER UNIVERSITY SOUTH-EAST ZONE YOUTH FESTIVAL

Our college MIME team (students) represented the university of Mysore and participated in the "38th INTER UNIVERSITY SOUTH-EAST ZONE YOUTH FESTIVAL" held from 19th to 23rd Dec 2024, Organized by Christ University, Bangalore. won the prize and got selected for Nationals (Amity University,New Delhi)

INTER-COLLEGIATE CULTURAL COMPETITION

On December 7th and 8th, 2024, students from GSSS Simha Subbamahalakshmi First Grade College in the city participated in the University-level inter-college cultural competitions held at the Manasagangothri campus of Mysore University under the guidance of Mr. Ankaraju, Assistant Librarian, GSSS SSFGC and have been selected for the 38th South-East Zone Youth Festival .

                 

 

GHRANTHAYANA

Students from every department of GSSS SSFGC, led and overseen by Mr. Ankaraju. M, Asst Librarian gave an exceptional performance in the drama "Ghranthayana" on October 9th, 2024 organized by Library and Information Science Department. The students were commended for their outstanding performance by the program's chief guests Harinaraya, Senior Associate Prof, Department of Library and Information Science, Praveen, Writer, Theatre Artist, Mysuru. On his remarks, Dr. Rakesh, Pricipal, GSSS SSFGC expressed his pride on the students' success in all areas and discussed the value of libraries and how to protect them and make the best use of it.

INTERNATIONAL YOUTH DAY STREET PLAY COMPETITION

Under the guidance and direction of Mr. Ankaraju, the students of GSSS SSFGC participated in the International Youth Day Street Play Competition organized by GRAM organization on 27th, August,2024 and grabbed the first place making the institution truly proud.

        

                          

 

AMRITA VISHWA VIDYAPITAM MIME COMPETITION

Led and trained by Mr. Ankaraju, Asst Librarian, GSSS SSFGC, the students of GSSS SSFGC participated in the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapitam’s Intercollegiate Fest on 4th of May, 2024 and won 1st place in the Mime Competition.

        

 

SKIT COMPETITION

On 16th of March, 2024, The Bharath Scouts and Guides, Mysuru with collaboration with K. Puttaswamy First Grade College, held a Mysore Division Level Rovers and Rangers meet and skit competition on Sustainable Development. The students of BCA and BCom, GSSS SSFGC participated in the skit competition and secured first place among 23 team under the guidance of Mr. Ankaraju N, Assistant Librarian, GSSS SSFGC.

        

 

South-East Zone Skit Competition

Students of the Cultural club of GSSS SSFGC, under the guidance of Mr. Ankaraju M, Assistant Librarian and Drama Teacher, GSSS SSFGC took part in the cultural fest held at the University of Mysore on the 22nd of February. The students took part in the programmes, competitions, and the rally, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
