GSSS Simha Subbamahalakshmi First Grade College, affiliated to the University of Mysore, founded and managed by GSSS(R), was established in the year 1991 by a visionary academic leader, Prof. B.S. Pandit. Presently, a highly dedicated office bearers of the management are steering the institution with a clear cut vision to make it a remarkable institution in the heritage city of Mysore.
GSSS SSFGC is a co-education college set in a large sprawling green campus on KRS road, intertwined with GSSS Engineering college which has the distinction of being the first engineering college for women in Karnataka. The College offers modern Education, rooted in the culture and heritage of India, to students in Management (BBA), Commerce (B.Com) and Science (BCA).
Transport facilities from all areas of Mysore and on campus hostel facilities for girls are provided by the college. qualified faculty,state of art labs, library,classrooms, indoor and outdoor sports facilities invite students to an outstanding learning experience at SSFGC. Canteen facilities which provide healthy and hygienic vegetarian food
in line with the semi residential status of the college is a favorite among students.

Academic Achievement
The programme has already demonstrated encouraging results. Around 10 students successfully cleared the CS Foundation Examination, marking an important milestone for the institution’s professional coaching initiative.
